I am an author.

I absolutely love reading and writing. These are some of the things I've written recently, but I'm not really counting fanfiction and the more leisure stuff here. Mostly essays, but also my first book! Click on the photos to read my work.

Expect to see more on this page very soon!

Don't Look Back, Don't Forget

I know I said I'm not including fanfiction in this page, but this isn't really fanfiction... It's based off of a text-based role-play I've been conducting with some friends.

I submitted this essay to the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition 2025 and won the Bronze award.

This year's QCEC had the highest recorded number of participants ever: 53,400+, a 53% increase from 2024.

Three Birds

Another expansion of the role-play, this is the backstory of my character(s), because I'm over attached.

Edit: I entered this into the World Youth and Teenage Writing Contest, and received the Special Gold (top 12%) Award!

Which Key Factors Drive a Narrative?

My first official "academic" essay! I still tried to keep the language and vibe light here.

Edit: This one was for Immerse Educations's essay competition.

It's genuinely impressive to witness such a deep level of understanding and wisdom from someone so young. Every chapter of the book has been an eye-opener, imparting my son and me with numerous invaluable lessons. The biography of the author has left us in awe; it has inspired my son to incorporate some of her methodologies into his daily routines, which have proven to be quite advantageous. I'm immensely thankful for the opportunity to explore this book alongside my son—it has indeed been a precious gift. I hold a deep appreciation for her remarkable work and the profound insights into life that she offers through her writing. We eagerly anticipate witnessing more of her accomplishments and the publication of more books in the future. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Karen for her contributions.

Hello Karen, thank you for your stories. It gives me a lot of encouragement and confidence to be a mother. I always talk with my daughter and let her choose her path, but sometimes, I doubt I am doing the right thing. After reading your book, I have more courage to grow with my daughter 🩷 thank you.

Little Karen has expressed her varieties of life experiences, stories, thoughts as a worldschooler through the beautiful words in her first book. Her thoughts and curiosities were beyond her age of 8 definitely. This book is not just for children but adults as well.

I can really feel Karen throughout the whole book. The words, sentences she used - are very genuine and exactly what she would say in real person. I can almost hear her voice reading it out loud!

Amazing illustration throughout. Enjoyed them a lot.
